I’ve only been planting a garden for a few years now, but we live in a rural area where deer like to get to my crops before I do. Sometimes tomato plants get chewed to the ground before they even get a chance to blossom. One of my relatives passed on a tip to keep deer out of my garden and I can now say 100% positive that it works well. (and no, this tip doesn’t involve a double-barrel 12gauge)

I hate to throw things away but was really getting annoyed at various water hoses I had purchased at a local hardware store. They were on sale and were extremely cheap, but were getting expensive by leaking at the fittings where they went together. We have a well, but I figured we were wasting gallons of water each time we used our hoses.

There are a lot of exercise products on the market today. Some are good ideas, and some are just overpriced fads. One of the least expensive exercise methods is the use of your own bodyweight. I needed a set of pushup bars and didn’t want to send money to China by buying a set at the local box store.

Sometimes network devices such as wireless access points, routers, and storage devices need to be rebooted periodically. For whatever reason, they run fine for a few months then require a reboot to get them working again. For some reason, the reboot is always needed when you are in a hurry to get something done and have to take a couple minutes to run up or downstairs or to the other end of the house and unplug/replug your device. For less than $5, you can solve your problem and forget the hassle.
