Version 1.4 of Sony’s EULA is included with the latest mandated firmware update. It includes the sentence:

“Some services may be provided automatically without notice when you are online”

A mandated firmware update (if you want to play new titles) that forces you to give them control over your PS3.

This follows right on the heels of Sony removing the Other OS feature from the device. Personally, I don’t own a PS3, and doubt I will if a company can remove functionality of a piece of hardware after you have purchased it.
