Good grief, in addition to the insane idea of Daylight Saving Time, we have to deal with the technological burdens it imposes. Whether it saves daylight is debatable, but it’s a sure thing that it wastes energy, money and time. Not only do we now have to recover from the hour change twice each year, we might be late to a meeting even if we arrive at the office on time. Here’s the latest Outlook issue I’ve encountered. I’ve worked with three different web hosting providers now. The latest is 1and1.com . A (now) client contacted me after already arranging hosting with 1and1 . They needed a website completed for their small business. I hadn’t worked with 1and1 before, but it seemed simple enough from the information the client provided. Here’s what’s happened so far.
