Lego sets of the past and future
I remember playing with legos in the 1980s and never getting bored of what could be made out of the somewhat simplistic pieces that were available. There were two series that were awesome from that time period.
I really liked the Galaxy Explorer set
and the Blacktron series
Back then, legos were simple and there weren’t the highly specialized pieces that come in kits today. As I got older I started using the Technic sets. I remember the racing buggy the best.
Now, building from Legos is quite different. You can download their Lego Designer and build your set on your computer, order the parts online and they’re all there in a few days. It’s a pretty good setup and would save a lot of money over the old method. (The old method consisted of going to the toy store and buying several sets to get everything you needed)
