why don’t lawmakers like free anonymous speech?
a Kentucky lawmaker want’s to require contributors to register a name and email address with any website they post to. You know you can’t fake an email address and name, or IP address for that matter. The law would also require website owners to pay a fine if the contributor hadn’t registered with the site. All in the name of reducing the latest catch phrase, “cyber-bullying”. Once again, another lawmaker that doesnt understand the intertubes.
