Backing up your computer is never really valued until it crashes. The first thing that comes to mind is the vast pile of pictures you just categorized from your trip overseas or a relative’s wedding. I found a nice free tool to backup selected locations on my computer every night.
Karen’s Replicator is a small program that minimizes to an icon on your system tray and runs scheduled or on-demand backups whenever you want. One of the neat features is that it only backs up files that have changed since the last successful backup. So, after the initial backup, subsequent backups are far quicker.
Check it out at Karen’s Replicator site. And if you choose to keep it, consider donating on her site.
